Vanlandingham, Pierce Earn Top Academic Honors

Vanlandingham, Pierce Earn Top Academic Honors
The Altamont School has announced two of its top academic honors for the Class of 2024 in advance of other awards to be presented at the school’s May 23 graduation ceremony.
Olivia Vanlandingham is Valedictorian in recognition of the highest academic achievement among the graduating seniors.
Riley Pierce is Salutatorian, with the second-highest academic achievement.
Last year, Vanlandingham earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. Pierce is a National Merit Finalist and recipient of a National African American Recognition Award (NAARA) from the College Board National Recognition Programs.
