Goldberg Selected for All Area Team

Altamont varsity basketball player Madison Goldberg was selected for the All Area Team! Coach Kayla Lewis said the honor was well deserved. “Madison is an outstanding player who has a driven attitude on the court, and it’s clear that she has a strong passion for this game,” Lewis said.

Lewis also noted that Goldberg excelled while making the transition from grade 6 to 7. “Compared to middle school, the level of play is completely different as a seventh-grader on varsity,” she said. “She was not afraid of anything or anyone, never gave up, and was prepared for whatever came her way. The opportunity to coach and watch her play was an incredible experience.”
