Kaia Todd Signs Letter of Intent to Tulane

At a May 12, 2021, ceremony in Patton Gym, Altamont senior Kaia Todd signed a letter of intent to play college-level athletics. Kaia received an academic and athletic scholarship to participate in NCAA Division I track and field for Tulane University.

During her time on Altamont's track and field team, the girls team won the 2021 state championship. In addition to the team win, Kaia is the state champion in the 100m hurdles (setting a state record), high jump (setting a state record) and triple jump. This winter, she was the state champion in the 60m hurdles. Earlier this week, she placed 4th in the AHSAA state heptathlon. Additionally, Kaia has also participated in gymnastics throughout her school career.
