At the Alabama State French Convention, held February 28, 2020, at the University of Alabama, our students brought home a total of 24 individual and group awards. Congratulations to our teachers and students on their outstanding performances. Félicitations à tous nos gagnants !

Individual Oral Competitions

Level I: Alexander Skowronski won a Supérieur award and Best Theme-Related Presentation.

Level II: Caileigh Moose won a Supérieur award.

Level III: Temple Coleman won a Supérieur award and Best Theatrical Presentation.

Advanced: Eleanor Roth won a Supérieur award and Best Theme-Related Presentation.


Group Skits

Level I/II: "It's a Piece of Cake!" won a Supérieur award and Best Presentation of Traditional Material.

Level III-Adv.: "Eating! (at each other)" won a Supérieur award and Best Theatrical Presentation.


Choral Competitions

Group led by Dan Eggers, "Les Cornichons" ("Pickles) won a Bien award and Best Theme-Related Presentation.

T-Shirt Design

Ingrid Smyer won a Grand Prix and $100 for winning the t-shirt design competition, beating out 20 other designs from 10 other schools!
