Double Exposure Photography Competition Best of Show

The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa has announced Junior Division winners of the 2019 Double Exposure Juried Photography competition. Congratulations to the following Altamont students:

$250 Best of Show:
Elizabeth Patterson for "The Chase"

$125 Cash Awards:
Amrita Lakhanpal for "The Green Woman"
Emily Muller for "Rust and Tin"
Elizabeth Patterson for "Hidden Figures"

Honorable Mention
Aaron Swiney for "The Introvert"

Double Exposure Junior Division is open to photographers ages 12-17 from the state of Alabama only. Artists were allowed to enter up to three works, and any photographic media was accepted. Tuscaloosa photographer Robert Sutton served as the judge. The Double Exposure exhibit will be open to the public Jan. 22-Feb. 10 at the Bama Theatre's Junior League Gallery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and will end with a closing reception and awards ceremony on Feb. 10 from 2-3 p.m. The Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. and also during Bama Theatre events.
