The 2020 Biennial Southeast Regional High School Artists Competition, hosted by the Art and Art History Departments at Birmingham-Southern College (BSC), recognizes talented young artists, grades 9-12, from 12 Southeastern states. Altamont is proud to have eight students selected to display their work in this juried competition. Art students Sophie Cornelius (11th grade), Mia Dunlap (9th grade), Spencer Marcum (11th grade) and Audrey Williams (10th grade) were chosen to exhibit their work. Photography students Emily Muller (12th grade), Camille Oliver (12th grade), Jonathan Lewis (12th grade) and David Reese (10th grade) were chosen to display their photographs.

An awards presentation and reception will be held at BSC's Norton Campus Theatre on January 19, 2020.

Congratulations to our students and their teachers, Mrs. Gillespie and Mrs. Hunter!
