  • Complete the online application form

Once submitted and processed, you will have access to an Admissions Progress Checklist like this sample:

  • Use this checklist to request current teacher recommendations and school records. When requesting records, you will be asked “Records Name”. This is not asking for your child’s name; it is asking for the name and email of the administrator at your child’s current school who will complete the records request.
  • Register and submit a score on the ISEE
  • Once all application materials are received, we will contact you to schedule an interview. This wrap-up meeting is an opportunity for students to share more about themselves and to ask any lingering questions regarding curriculum, program, or life in general at Altamont.
    • Both are welcome, but we do ask that at least one parent attends the interview.
  • Admission applications completed by Jan. 24 will receive notification on or about Feb. 9. We will continue to accept applications after this date. Notification for applications received after Jan. 24 will be given as soon as possible, but priority will be given to those completed by Jan. 24.
